How to Start Playing Popdarts

New Players can follow the steps below to get registered and start playing popdarts.

Go to the Scoreholio site and download the app onto your phone. Then register and make sure to select "Popdarts" as your sport.

You must be registered with the American Popdarts League (APL) in order to participate in sanctioned leagues. Go to the APL site www.iplayapl.com to register.

If you want to get a set of your own darts, or other accessories, go to the official Popdarts Site to get all the latest gear.

When you throw a Popdart, the dart should not spin in the air. Instead it should make a nice arc to the target. Watch this video to learn how to throw a Popdart.

RULES

• Stick Target Marker to a smooth surface.
• Stand back at least 10ft. 
• Take turns throwing toward the Target Marker. 
• Team with the most points wins the round. 

SCORING  

• Closest Popdart to Target Marker = 3 points 
• Landing on the Wigglenobber Target Marker = 10 points (Only with Pro Pack) 
• Every other Popdart that sticks = 1 points 
• “Cancellation Scoring” Example: 5 - 2 = 3

Now that you have downloaded the Scoreholio app, have a Scoreholio Player Profile, and registered with the APL, it is time to find a tournament or league. Use the Scoreholio app to Find local events near you.

Come out to events that the DFW Popdarts Club is hosting across the DFW area.
